A global engineering brand that provides products, systems and solutions for residential, commercial and industrial applications. The UK is an extremely successful territory for them, where their Energy sector achieves £250m in annual revenues at peak. They are well respected with a proven design pedigree and a large R&D team globally. This role will provide you with a structured career path to Sales Director or Country Manager within year or two.
It is likely that you are an electrically-biased sales person with experience of dealing with DNO/DSO customers at a senior level.
This role offers a defined career path. You MUST be career motivated with a willingness to invest time/effort into securing a more senior position with a global manufacturer.
This is a succession-planning role where you will be mentored by the current Sales Director who is looking to retire. You will play a leading role in designing and implementing the sales strategy for the next five years which will be partly driven by regulatory factors but also by upgrades to existing products and systems.
Your customer base will include all UK electricity DNO/DSO customers where certain relationships are already in place. You will promote a new range of products which the market has demanded in recent years which will give rise to significant growth potential over the next 5 – 10 years.
For the first 6 – 12 months this will be a consultative sales role where you will be having conversations with senior decision-makers within DNO/DSO’s about the challenges and issues that your products/services provide a tailor-made solution for. You will create demand, uncover pain points and set-up product trials as a first step of the engagement process.
After year one, you will have more leadership responsibilities within the group.
